Carol Ann (Chapman) Kleindorfer passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born on September 22, 1954, in Phoenix, Arizona, Carol spent her life in the desert she called home. She worked in the printing industry for most of her life, raising a family, building friendships, and becoming one of those people whose presence quietly becomes part of the landscape.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Joann Chapman and her husband, Thomas Kleindorfer.

She is survived by her daughter, Shaunna Chapman; her granddaughter, Keryn Aponte; her sister, Suzi; her nephew, Beau; her niece Heather and a community of friends and neighbors who knew her simply as Carol or Mama C.

Carol believed in keeping an eye on things. As a Block Watch organizer, she helped bring neighbors together and looked after the people around her. She understood that communities are built one conversation, one act of kindness, and one watchful eye at a time.

She loved BritBox, Pink Floyd, and a good story. She could settle into a favorite show with the same dedication she brought to everything else in life. Family members will also remember her chocolate meringue pie, a dessert that arrived not merely as food, but as proof that someone cared enough to make it.

Like most people, Carol was more than a list of accomplishments. She was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a neighbor, a coworker, and a friend. She occupied her place in the world in ways both large and small, leaving behind memories that now belong to those who loved her.

The measure of a life is not found in a single day, but in the accumulation of ordinary days shared with others. Carol's life was full of those days. They remain behind as her gift to us.

She will be missed.
