Bhrett J. Pizza, age 68 of Marietta, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on May 16, 2026. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on February 5, 1958, the second son of John G. Pizza and Roslyn Pizza nee Havlicek (predeceased). Growing up in Hoboken, New Jersey, he attended St. Ann’s School/ Roman Catholic Church. He attended Xavier Military High School in New York City, graduating in 1976. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Adams State College, Alamosa, Colorado in 1980 and also received a Master’s Degree in 1981. He received his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1986. Bhrett founded Bhrett J.Pizza Law Offices in Marietta and Monroe, Georgia. Bhrett’s 40 year legal career was marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to his clients. He was admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, The Georgia Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court-Northern District Court of Georgia. Bhrett was a dedicated and distinguished attorney in the field of personal injury, workers compensation, and was recognized throughout Georgia as an expert in Spinal Cord injuries. 

Bhrett is survived by his loving and treasured wife, Terrie M. Pizza; his daughter Carmen Rene Pizza; his brothers Dr. Bradford Pizza and John B. Pizza; sister Pamela Pizza LaQuaglia; nephews Jonathan Pizza, Justin Pizza, Peter LaQuaglia; nieces Dr. Vanessa Pizza, Taylor Kedwell, Gabriela LaQuaglia, Alicia Carona, Melissa Carona, and Andrea Carona. 

Visitation will take place Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 3-5pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday May 21 at 10 am at Carmichael Funeral Home, 1130 Whitlock Ave. Marietta, Georgia 30064. Entombment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
