ALAMOSA – Tim Yount released his first in-season high school wrestling rankings on Thursday.

Class 3A

Both local Class 3A teams are in the Top 10 as Centauri is ranked fifth, and Alamosa is eighth.

Mullen is the top-ranked team, followed by Eaton, Gunnison, Valley Centauri, Resurrection Christian, Brush, Alamosa, Jefferson and Fort Lupton.

Alamosa

The Mean Moose have seven ranked wrestlers and they are led by Jeremiah DeLaCerda who is second at 106, and Dyson Woodward who is third at 150.

Also ranked for Alamosa are Ryan Cordova who is sixth at 157, Uriah Martinez who is sixth at 132, Anthony Meder who is sixth at 120, Daniel Martinez who is ninth at 138, and Pablito Rodriguez who is 11th at 126.

Centauri

The Falcons have four wrestlers in the rankings and are led by Caden Casias who is first at 120, and Parker Buhr who is second at 165. Also ranked for Centauri are Spencer Smith who is seventh at 175, and Troy Munson who is eighth at 157.

Class 2A

One local team is in the Class 2A rankings as Center is in the eighth position.

Wray is still at the top of the rankings, followed by Cedaredge, North Fork, Rocky Ford, Sedgwick County/Fleming, Highland. Fowler, Center, Meeker and Buena Vista.

Antonito

Antonito currently has no ranked wrestlers

Center

The Vikings have five recognized wrestlers. Aaron Valadez is third at 165, Andree Meraz is sixth at 157, Martin Palma is seventh at 190, Michael Archuleta is 10th at 120, and Caden Ruggles is 15th at 157.

Del Norte

There are two Tigers in the rankings. Paul Neal is ninth at 165, and Ezra Gilliam is 11th at 132.

Monte Vista

The Pirates have five wrestlers in the rankings. Elijah Baumgardner is fourth at 132, Jeremiah Baumgardner is fourth at 175, Mathieu Dean is fourth at 106, Jacob Pacheco is fourth at 165, and Kevin Cisneros is 157.

Sargent

There is one ranked Farmer wrestler in Jaycian Sierra who is 11th at 138.

Sierra Grande/Centennial

The Panthers have two ranked wrestlers. Diego Rodriguez is eighth at 113, and Bryant Tijerina is eighth at 132.

Class 4A girls

Alamosa is ranked 12th in the Class 4A girls team rankings.

Pueblo Central is ranked first, followed by Lamar, North Fork, Gunnison, Strasburg, Yuma, Canon City, Severance, Skyview, Wiggins, Moffat County, Alamosa, Sedgwick County/Fleming, Fort Lupton and Pagosa Springs.

Alamosa

The Lady Mean Moose have three wrestlers in the rankings and are led by Samantha Maestas who is first at 115, and Gizella Marez who is first at 120. Leah Pintor is ninth at 100.

Antonito

There is one Lady Trojan in the rankings in Alysaa Abeyta who is sixth at 105.

Del Norte

Del Norte currently has no wrestlers in the rankings.

Monte Vista

The Lady Pirates have one wrestler recognized in Torrina Herrera who is ninth at 120.
