WOLF CREEK PASS – Wolf Creek Ski Area, known for the “Most Snow in Colorado”, lives up to its name after an impressive 26-inch mid-October storm and is opening today, Oct. 22.
The storm left an 18-inch midway for Wolf Creek’s 85th anniversary opening day. Treasure Stoke, Bonanza and Nova Lifts will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, giving access to roughly 30 percent of the mountain.

The Magic Carpet will also open for the Wolf Pup and Wolf Rider Programs. The Ski School, Ski and Snowboard Rental, Treasure Sports, Pathfinder Bar and Continental Espresso Bar will open. The Main Day Lodge, Upper Lodge, will have limited food service.
Wolf Creek Ski Area celebrates its 85th opening day with Local Appreciation rate lift tickets. Opening day festivities include a commemorative 85th anniversary sticker for skiers and snowboarders wearing red and gold, Wolf Creek’s anniversary colors.
Events to celebrate the 85th ski season at Wolf Creek will be held throughout the season, offering skiers and snowboarders a chance to win prizes and swag. Visit the 85th Anniversary page online for details.

Wolf Creek is accepting applications for all departments: lifts, ski school, food and beverage, base operations, retail, ticket office and more.
The Wolf Creek Ski School will be hosting a hiring clinic and interviews, Saturday, Nov. 2, and Sunday, Nov. 3, starting at 9 a.m. Prospective employees will meet at the Lynx Learning Center, bring gear, lunch and plan to be on the mountain, ready to ski and ride both days. Part-time, holiday and full-time positions are available in the ski, snowboard and Wolf Pup departments.
