The City of Monte Vista is hiring for an Equipment Operator II that will assist work crews in street construction, maintenance and repair as assigned. The Equipment Operator performs physical labor in construction, concrete and asphalt repair, and traffic control. Regularly operates a single or tandem axle dump truck, snowplow, and other assigned vehicles, and performs other related duties and special projects as assigned. Requires a valid Colorado Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to operate City equipment and/or vehicles, including the appropriate endorsements/restrictions. This is a 40 hour per week full-time position. The general starting wage is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour plus an excellent benefit package. Head Football Coach needed at Del Norte Jr/Sr High School. The coach’s responsibilities include: leading training sessions, providing motivation and advice during gameplay, developing game plans, and attending tryouts, as well as scheduling team meetings.
