WOLF CREEK PASS — An early November storm that dropped 20 inches of snow allowed Wolf Creek Ski Area to open Friday, Nov. 4, for the 2022-2023 ski season.

Lifts were open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. along with the Ski School, Ski and Snowboard Rentals, Treasure Sports, Pathfinder Bar and the Wolf Creek Lodge (Upper Lodge).

The Wolf Creek Ski School did a hiring clinic and interviews on Saturday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 6.

The settled base at midway was 26 inches of all-natural snow. Snowfall year-to-date is 34 inches. As usual, with more snow and winter conditions, more terrain and lifts will open. Detailed information will be updated on the website and by calling 1-800-ski-wolf.

Wolf Creek is gearing up for the upcoming season and is taking applications for all departments: lifts, ski school, food and beverage, base operations, retail, ticket office and more, Wolf Creek Ski Area officials stated.  Check the Employment Page online to download an application.
