South Fork Kiwanis host brisket dinner

SOUTH FORK—The Kiwanis Club of South Fork did not disappoint for the July 3rd festivities. The Kiwanis spent some time preparing for their annual BBQ brisket dinner. The almost 400 hungry people came to enjoy dinner with all the fixins, including potato salad, beans, drink and dessert all for $10.
As always, the Silver-Haired Ramblers (who used to be the Merrymakers) played for the entire dinner. Some folks stayed after just to listen to them; others decided to get up and cut a rug. It was a great event! Thanks goes to everyone who helped out and who came to enjoy the day.
