ALAMOSA—The Friends of the San Luis Valley National Wildlife Refuges will hold its annual meeting and workday at the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, July 14. Meet at the visitor’s center on El Rancho Lane at 9 a.m. to fence trees along the Rio Grande to reduce beaver damage. Lunch and a short annual meeting will follow around noon.
